I've been searching for a driver for my old webcam in order to be able to use it in Vista. It appears that it's not supported anymore and the driver's not in Windows Update or on Philips support pages. You can get a driver
update from there, but it needs the original Installation CD, which I have probably lost. So I decided to isolate needed files from my Windows Server 2003 installation and try to use them on my shiny new Vista Ultimate. Guess what? It worked! Don't know how legal it is to share such files, but what the hell.
Here they are. ;)
Good luck!
BTW: it's for Philips PCVC675k, PCVC680k and PCVC690k models anyway.
p.s. And it works nice as an Infrared cam too. ;)
Thank you very much!
OdpowiedzUsuńI got my old PCVC680k webcam working in Vista too!

OdpowiedzUsuńHi all,
OdpowiedzUsuńis there any chance to get this driver?
and
will it work under win7 64bit?
greets thomas
Hey! I've just restored the file! Unfortunately it won't work in 64-bit systems, since those are 32-bit drivers. Maybe if I got hold of a Windows 2003 x64 install, it would be possible to extract it.
OdpowiedzUsuńI have the same problem. PCVC680K & Win7.
OdpowiedzUsuńCould you point me to the driver? I can't find it on your blog.
Hi!
OdpowiedzUsuńThank you for sharing the driver.

OdpowiedzUsuńHi Guys,
OdpowiedzUsuńI am struggeling to get it installed under Windows 7 64 bits. Any Tips ?
Sorry, I don't have access to 64-bit Windows 2003 any more. You could try to get hold of that OS, check if the driver is built-in and extract the analogous files for 64-bit platforms.
UsuńHi mate, would you happened to still have the files and be able to share them again ? That would be fantastic. I used mine with a telescope, and just digged it out. Thx!
OdpowiedzUsuńHi, sorry, I updated the link. Seems I'll have to maintain it for a loooong time. ;)
UsuńHey there !
OdpowiedzUsuńStill no news for a x64 version ?
Thanx
